Dunkin’ Donuts Continues to Brings a Consistent Customer Experience to New Regions Across Europe

Back To Results

When it comes to offering a consistent customer experience, Dunkin’ Donuts is obviously doing something right. As one of the world’s leading coffee and baked goods brands, Dunkin’ Donuts has brought its products, services and customer engagement strategies to people everywhere. Recently, this has seen the brand rapidly spread across Europe, which is an expansion that also shows no sign of slowing down yet.

In just the last few months alone, Dunkin’ Donuts has opened 55 new restaurants and franchises across the region, which brings its European total to 220 locations. The success of the brand’s growth is, in part, due to its popular selection of donuts, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. However, it is also due to the brand’s efforts to offer an exceptional customer experience. Dunkin' Donuts has, for example, earned the number one ranking for customer loyalty in the coffee category by Brand Keys for nine consecutive years.

These top-notch customer engagement efforts also include the brand’s award winning loyalty program, DD Perks.

"We've been very pleased with our regional expansion efforts in 2015, bringing Dunkin' Donuts' high-quality foods and beverages to guests in several new European countries," said Grant Benson, CFE, VP of global franchising and business development at Dunkin' Brands. "We're also continuing to recruit qualified, well-capitalized multi-unit franchisee groups for Belgium, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Norway and Turkey, and see tremendous opportunity for future growth in these markets."

Dunkin' Donuts also recently celebrated additional expansion efforts by opening stores in Denmark, Georgia, Iceland, Poland, Austria, Germany, Spain and Sweden. In all, Dunkin’ Donuts now exists in over 43 countries and supports more than 11,700 locations.

"We were very excited to bring Dunkin' Donuts to Iceland and help grow the brand in Europe," said Arni Petur Jonsson, CEO of DRANGASKER EHF, Dunkin' Donuts master franchisee for Iceland. "With coffee culture being such an important part of life inIceland and across Europe, we feel that Dunkin' Donuts' high-quality blends of coffee and welcoming, friendly restaurant environments are a great addition for the region. We look forward to serving more guests across the country as we open additional Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the years ahead."
